A Prayer for Leaders

DIRECTIONS

Insert the name of the person you are praying for wherever you see dashes ___. I wrote this prayer for a female, hence the feminine pronouns. If praying for a male or a group of individuals, replace the feminine pronouns with the relevant ones.

PRAYER FOR LEADERS

Father, I thank You for ___ (insert person's name) and for her heart. I thank You for Your faithfulness and for all of Your goodness in every way towards her! I ask that You release Your honor upon ___ and within her realms as she loves and serves your Son, Yeshua, as according to John 12:26.

Yeshua, You are our Memucan, speaking into the ears of our Father to prepare a place for us to reign (Esther 1:16). I ask, Lord of Lords, that You intercede on behalf of ___ to the Father to create and prepare positions of promotion for her that will set her apart (Esther 1:19). I ask that You assign Memucans who, knowingly and/or unknowingly, impart the counsel of Your purpose to earthly kings - those with authority, influence, access, and affluence (Esther 1:16) - so that decisions are made to create positions for ___ that will usher her into the greater and higher depths of her destiny (Esther 1:19).

I ask that you send reminders to the earthly kings to follow up on Your wise counsels spoken to them through Your Memucans, intended to usher ___ into the positions set apart for her (Esther 2:1). I ask that angels be dispatched as according to Esther 2:3 to identify and escort ___ to all the places where positions are being created and prepared that are in alignment with Your will and timing for her - places containing positions of divine relationships, positions to receive abundant resources, and scroll-aligned ministry and business and trading positions, etc.

I ask that you assign Hegai’s to favor, supply, teach, comfort, prepare, and minister to ___ in every relevant and necessary way and in an excellent manner (Esther 2:9), in every place where the angels escort her. I ask that Hegai’s be assigned to cause delays in ___ life to cease and desist, and that these Hegai’s cause acceleration for her just as Hegai did for Hadassah by quickly attending to her! I ask that You, Yeshua, and these Hegai’s remove and prevent every sorrow and toil from entering ___ timeline of preparation just as Hegai did for Hadassah by assigning her to the best apartment where she could be comforted and at ease in a strange environment, and as according to Your Word in Proverbs 10:22. I ask, Yeshua, that as ___ undergoes preparation under the guidance of her assigned Hegai’s, that You deposit Your strength and power into every area where she is weak, that You deposit Your grace which enables and carries her beyond her efforts and limitations as according to 2 Corinthians 12:9. Holy Spirit, You are the ultimate Hegai, and I ask that all of Your fractals rest upon ___ as according to Isaiah 11:2 in a heavier, more substantial manner so that she becomes exponentially empowered and equipped for the tasks and assignments that lay before her. I especially ask that you enable her to have quick understanding and pure discernment, and that You refresh her with delight found in her reverence and obedience of the LORD as according to Isaiah 11:3.

I ask You, Father God, to appoint Mordecai’s to ___ in areas where Hegai’s cannot serve. Cause these Mordecai’s to impart Your wise counsel to her that will become as protective coverings over and surrounding her as she obeys Your counsel (Esther 2:10). Blind the eyes of the enemy so that they cannot recognize her to sabotage her just as Hadassah’s identity was not revealed. Let these intercessor Mordecai’s execute watches for her so that she remains covered, and so that anything contrary to Your will be exposed and prevented (Esther 2:11).

Cause ___ to abide in safety and victory as she heeds and obeys Your wise counsel as according to Proverbs 11:14. As ___ heeds and obeys the wise counsels of the Hegai’s and Mordecai’s in her life, cause her excellence of Spirit and manner to shine before all so that she receives favor from all (Esther 2:15), and so that even her enemies be made to be at peace with her (Proverbs 16:7).

Ultimately, as each petition in this prayer is met and answered, cause her to be crowned qualified and approved for the positions You have created and prepared for her for such a time as this! In Yeshua’s Name, Amen!

While in a sleep-wake state (one of the times God speaks to me), I felt an impression to write a prayer specifically for my course instructor. This prayer was to be the last homework submission for Daniel Duval's Unlocking the Mystery of Prayer course.

When I read it during the last course session, the instructor said, "I hear God say, 'This is a prayer for leaders.'"
